Shangri-la Hambanthota

Shangri-la Hambanthota was a landmark project in the Hospitality sector in Sri Lanka, being a 5 Star 300 room hotel situated in Hambanthota. After a construction period of 2 years, Shangri-la Hambanthota opened it's doors in August 2016 and Sign Tech was selected as the signage supplier for the entire project, which included Exterior signage, Interior signage, Restaurant signage and Back of House signage. 

The signage for this project was fabricated using highly specialized materials, using meticulous fabrication methods. For example all the exterior signage was fabricated using a resin mixed with specialized light-weight concrete with engraved text and finished with a textured finish to endure harsh environmental conditions faced in these areas. The interior signage was fabricated with a material called 'Marblo' which is a polymer-based hybrid 'Solid Surface material'  imported from Australia. The golf area signage was fabricated with locally sourced Teak timber, with engraved text, to merge the signage seamlessly to it's surroundings.
